What do you celebrate this month?
How do you prepare for Spring?
I prepare for spring by working on a layout for my garden: new veggies I might want to try or new flowers for the flower beds. This year I have purchased an archway for the garden and have several ideas for where and how to set it up. Also this will be the first year that I will have raised beds and this takes time to figure out measurements, best area of yard, right kind of soil, etc. I usually start this planning after Valentine’s day. I have a feeling I will be late planting the garden this year, but that gives me more time to plan and pour over gardening books and catalogs. I love the newness of spring, but “hate” the springtime weather, if you know what I mean. Anita

Anita,
So good to hear from you and sounds like you have great plans for your garden. The archway sounds lovely, always wanted to have one of those…
Definitely need to have spring thoughts today as it is freezing outside and the winds have been wicked all day!
