“Current reads in 2015” by Cynthia A. Lovely

IN OTHER WORDS – “I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book!” – Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

It’s almost March in this new year of 2015. Above is my to-be-read shelf from library.  My latest reads have been:

  • All’s Fair in Love & Cupcakes by Betsy St. Amant- fun read
  • Winter Brides by Denise Hunter, Deb Raney, Betsy St. Amant – love this collection
  • Paper Hearts by Courtney Walsh – great characters and setting
  • Beyond All Dreams by Elizabeth Camden – always enjoy Camden’s books
  • Dancing on the Head of a Pen by Robert Benson – great “little” book on writing

What have you been reading?

“A Lovely Valentine” by Cynthia A. Lovely

IN MY WORDS – Hearts and Flowers and a Trader Joe’s “For the Love of Chocolate Mousse Cake” = True Love : )

It is lovely to be cherished. I love my husband, God’s gift to me.

Yet the one whom my soul loves first and foremost = Jesus.

Jesus first. Always.

As a couple married almost 30 years, we both still understand the importance of keeping God as our First Love. Because of this, we are blessed.

If you are single, divorced, widowed, hoping-to-be-in-a-relationship or just plain tired of all this love and romance stuff, remind yourself that Jesus loves YOU – fully, completely, more than any one else.

Wishing you all a sweet Valentines Day…

Note: Winner of Amish novel is Francoise, congrats and please contact me!

“Comforts of the Season” by Cynthia A. Lovely

A WORD – Comfort: A condition of well-being, contentment, and security. A condition or feeling of pleasurable physical ease or relief from pain or stress.

Yes, it’s a pretty winter scene. But after several weeks of single digit temps and icy roads, there comes a need for…comfort.

It can be as simple as a decorative mug of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream.

Or a furry leopard print throw to snuggle under on the couch.

Perhaps comfort comes in the soft whir of the electric heater with faux flames flickering, creating a cozy atmosphere.

Add to that the stack of books gathered from the local library, along with the latest home decor magazines. Ah…comfort.

Leave a comment describing your “comforts of the season” to enter a book giveaway for a comfortable : ) Amish novel by Beverly Lewis .

Please add your email to the comment, thank you! Drawing will be next weekend.
