My favorite verse comes from a true story that may have ended very differently years ago when our now grown children were younger. It’s something I’m always mindful of when I think of the celebration and Thanksgiving feast, remembering one night, I wrote a short-story about it. The Bible verse from Hebrews 13:2 definitely reminds me of something many don’t often think about. I am very thankful for each Thanksgiving since the mid-1980’s. ”

I think of the song “Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart”. When life overwhelms us it’s hard sometimes to remember to be grateful. However, when one remembers to say “thank you” and really mean it the day seems so much brighter.
